HOUSTON—Police were on the search for a shooting suspect Wednesday night after a man was gunned down in the South Park community.
Houston police said around 9:15 p.m. the victim was visiting with friends near Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd and Pershing Street when an altercation occurred.
An unknown male pulled out a gun and shot the victim several times before leaving the scene.
The victim was transported to Ben Taub Hospital where he later died.
Police did not provide a description of the shooter.
