Driver killed in collision in NW Houston

HOUSTON- A driver collided into another vehicle, killing one man, on Saturday night in northwest Houston. 

According to deputies, it happened around 9:15 p.m.

Deputies said a man was in his pickup truck traveling northbound on West Montgomery Road and attempted to make a left turn onto West Mount Houston Road, but collided into a Ford Crown Victoria heading southbound on West Montgomery Road. 

 

The man driving the Crown Victoria died at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck wasn't injured.

Deputies are reviewing a dash cam in the pickup truck to determine who had the red light or a yield light.  They said no alcohol was involved.
