Another muggy, hot day ahead for Houston
12:46 PM CDT on Wednesday, September 3, 2008
HOUSTON—No shock here: Wednesday will be hot and humid for Houston.
11 News Meteorologist David Paul said to expect temps in the mid-90s and plenty of muggy air.
There is some good news, though.
Paul said a cool front is moving through West Texas. It’s already dropped temps in Abilene to 54 degrees. We’re not going to get that cool, obviously, but the drier air could knock down the humidity a little in the Bayou City later in the week.
“When you see it in the 50s in Abilene in September, you know fall is trying – trying – to break through,” Paul said.
As the week progresses, Paul said to expect about a 30 percent chance for showers and temps in the low- to mid-90s.
