HOUSTON—Soccer fans in Houston will soon be able to watch some of Mexico’s top teams play in the Bayou City.
Special three-game packages for doubleheaders in the Interliga competition went on sale Tuesday.
The matches will be played on January 3rd and 5th.
Teams like Chivas, Club America, Atlas and Pachuca will be competing.
The Interliga games help determine which Mexican teams qualify to play in the Copa Libertadores, a prestigious South American tournament.
Fans can buy tickets at Fiesta Supermarkets and Taqueria Arandas restaurants.
Meanwhile, tickets for the Dynamo’s second home game of the 2009 season also went on sale Tuesday.
