Deputies, dogs search for robbery suspect in Spring movie theater

SPRING, Texas—Deputies and search dogs combed through a Spring movie theater for a robbery suspect Wednesday afternoon.
According to Precinct 4 officials, the suspect robbed the Lowes Theater in the 19000 block of Holzwarth just as it was about to open.
Deputies evacuated the theater because they thought the robber might still be inside.
They manned the exits with their guns drawn as canine units searched the theater.
After a couple of hours, they determined the robber had escaped and the theater was allowed to open.
It was unclear how much money – if any—was missing.
