Crash snarls traffic on 290 inbound

HOUSTON -- An accident on 290 inbound at FM 1960 had all but one lane blocked just before noon Friday.
Officials said an 18-wheeler spilled hydrochloric acid onto the highway as a result of the crash.
It took several hours to mop up the mess, but officials said the acid wasn't a threat to anyone.
By rush hour, most of the lanes had reopened, but traffic was still crawling.
