“They jumped on us like a frog; one leg on each side. We couldn't even move,” said Sam Orlando, victim.

“The suspects had to be pretty thin. They were able to push themselves through this small window,” said Sergeant Pinkerton of the Houston Police Department. ”They were able to get between the glass and the frame.”

Once the suspects were inside, Pinkerton said they went down the hallway into the couple’s room.  According to him, they appeared to know exactly where to go.

“They went straight into their bedroom,” said Pinkerton.

The elderly couple was sleeping until the lights came on.  That’s when Orlando said the men began beating them.

Based on the photographs after the attack, the two suspects were cruel. Two weeks later, both Sam and his wife still have bruises all over their bodies.

Mary Orlando said she couldn't stop screaming during the attack.

“He told me if that if I didn’t shut up, he would kill me…and the old man,” said Mary.

The suspects covered their mouths with pillows and blankets, and finally told them what they really wanted, which was their money and jewelry.

HPD is convinced the two suspects were given information about the home, and what they could find inside.

The Orlandos have lived in their home since 1959, but after the robbery, they left.

“My son told me not to stay there and my wife doesn’t want to live there anymore. She’s scared,” said Sam Orlando.

The men are still on the run.  If you know anything about this attack, call HPD's robbery division at 713-308-0700 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.

A reward of $5000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of these men.
