HOUSTON—Police were at the scene of a bizarre home invasion Monday morning in southeast Houston.

It happened at a home on Belarbor at Martin Luther King.

According to police, the homeowners called 911 around 11 p.m. Sunday after their son attempted to break into their home.

The son reportedly broke a window and busted down a door to get in.

Police said the homeowners were aware it was their son when they called 911.

When police arrived, the son put up a fight, grabbing an officer’s flashlight.

The officer pulled out his Taser and used it on the suspect.

He was arrested at the scene.

It was unclear why he attempted to enter the home.
