This is what the weather was like at Moody Gardens in Galveston Thursday morning.

HOUSTON – If you’re tired of this rain, heat and humidity there is good news for you.

Meteorologist David Paul says fall is definitely in the air.

“This cold front is pushing through. It’s reaching Galveston Bay and it should be off the coast by early afternoon.”

Paul said the rain is tapering down and while there is some drizzle in our area, things will dry up tonight.

“The temperatures have been dropping into the low 60s behind the front. It should make the 70s for highs, but the next several days look gorgeous in the wake of this front,” said Paul.

“The lows will be in the 50s tonight, Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning. The highs will be in the 70s,” he said.

In other words, you can count on beautiful fall weather this weekend.
