HOUSTON—Homicide detectives suspect drugs were involved in a deadly gun battle that left a woman dead in southeast Houston.

Detectives say three men in a Comcast van pulled up to a house at 8022 Grandview to look for thousands of dollars worth of drugs. Police suspsect the drugs may have been stolen.

That’s when, detectives say, the men and the people inside the house began shooting at each other.

Police say that one woman was fatally wounded and two other men were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds. They’re in stable condition.
