KATY, Texas – Fort Bend County deputies are on the lookout for a man who used a bicycle to try and illegally withdraw money in Katy.

That man, deputies say, is also the individual who broke into a car in Katy’s Cinco Ranch Subdivision.

The heist occurred on September 4 in the 1800 block of Garden Terrace Drive in Fort Bend County.

Authorities say that the suspect took a laptop, GPS, and wallet from an unlocked vehicle.

Several hours later, investigators say, the suspect rode a bicycle to a nearby ATM and tried to withdraw cash using the victim’s credit card.
