Children escape NE Houston house fire

HOUSTON— Four children are safe after a fire destroyed their house early Monday morning.
The home on Clementine at Wylie in northeast Houston was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived there at around 4:30 a.m.
The children inside the home along with two other people escaped the blaze.
One woman suffered smoke inhalation.
She was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.
No one else was hurt.
Firefighters suspect that the fire may have started outside the back part of the house.
