HOUSTON -- An officer involved shooting has left a man in critical condition in southwest Houston.
Officers were serving a narcotics warrant at the victim’s home on Waller Street. When he refused to open the door, officers forced their way in. They ordered the man to put his hands up.
Officers said the man obeyed, but he raised his hands in a way that made them think he had a gun.
An officer armed with an assault rifle shot the man in the chest.
