Rain, rain, go away? Not so much -- expect showers Wednesday
02:04 PM CDT on Wednesday, August 6, 2008
HOUSTON -- Rain, rain, go away? Think again.
Stormy weather will likely wash over the Houston area in the afternoon hours Wednesday.
“Nothing too big this morning, but there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms to deal with later today,” 11 News Meteorologist David Paul said.
Paul said by Wednesday afternoon, there will be a 50 percent chance for storms.
The good news is, with all that rain, temps on Wednesday are only expected to reach 90.
That won’t be the case later in the week, however.
Paul said the mercury is expected to rise again in the next few days.
By the end of the week, we’ll have muggy weather and temps in the mid-90s.
