NASA asks workers to collect their urine

HOUSTON -- NASA is working on a very important mission for building the next spaceship: Collecting urine.

That’s right.

And it gets better – the agency is asking employees at the Johnson Space Center to donate theirs.

Why, you ask?

Engineers are trying to figure out the best way to get rid of stored urine and design a better space toilet for the future mission to the moon.
