FRESNO, Texas -- Fort Bend County deputies are searching for the man who tried to abduct a 15-year-old girl who was walking her bike home after having a flat tire.

The victim said she was leaving the Walgreen's at Highway 6 near Teal Bend Blvd. Monday evening when her bike tire went flat. She was walking the bike down Teal Bend when an older model red convertible Mustang pulled up beside her near Rabb Road.

The girl said the man inside rolled down the passenger window and asked her what her name was and where she lived. He then got out of the vehicle and approached her.

She got behind her bicycle, but the man was able to grab her by the arms and began pulling her toward the car.

That's when she kicked him in the groin, causing him to fall to the ground in pain.

The girl rode away as the man staggered back to his vehicle.

The driver is described as a white male between the ages of 50 and 60. He was approximately 6 feet tall, weighing 200 to 250 pounds with a medium build. The suspect had grey hair with a grey beard and mustache. He was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
Detectives are requesting anyone with information on the driver or the circumstances surrounding this incident to contact the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office at 281-341-4665 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS (8477).
