Lightning blamed for Tomball house fire

TOMBALL, Texas -- Mother nature’s fury is being blamed for a house fire in Tomball.

Reports from the scene indicate that lightning struck the home at 12 Rolling Glen in Northwest Harris County.
It happened just after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
When authorities arrived on the scene most of the roof was engulfed in flames.
Despite the flames and smoke the volunteer fire departments from Tomball and Cypress Creek were able to put the blaze out.
No one was hurt.
