Dead crabs wash up on Galveston island

GALVESTON—Authorities southeast of Houston are trying to unravel a mystery off the coast of Galveston island.
It seems that hundreds of dead blue crabs have washed ashore from the end of Seawall Boulevard to Bermuda Beach.
Eaelier this week, Hershey Beach and 8 Mile Road Beach were closed because of bacteria.
No word yet on if the two incidents are related.
