BAYTOWN, Texas—Baytown police found more than they bargained for when they discovered an abandoned pickup truck on I-10 Sunday.

The officers were working traffic enforcement when they spotted the white truck with Louisiana plates parked on the side of the freeway.

When the officers stopped to make sure everything was OK, they realized there was no one there.

That was when they noticed a very distinct odor.

The bed of the truck was completely full of big bundles of fresh marijuana.

There were more bundles in the cab.
