A Metro rider is facing assault charges after getting in a fight with another passenger Wednesday.

Officials say the woman was on a bus with her two small children when she got into a scuffle with another female.

Two plainclothes marshals who ride metro buses as a part of security saw what was happening and tried to break up the fight.

But the woman had other plans.  When the marshals approached, she became combative.

The marshals were forced to use a Taser on the woman several times before taking her into custody.

Her children were taken into custody by CPS.
