Woman shot in face with shotgun during apparent carjacking

HOUSTON -- Police are searching for three suspects who they said were a part of a brutal carjacking that left a woman with a shotgun wound to her face.
The violent incident occurred just before 8 p.m. in Southwest Houston on Bellaire Blvd. near Larkwood. Police said the victim walked into the Houston Fire Station No. 51 with a gunshot wound to her face.
She reported that she had just been carjacked. She was taken to a local hospital; her condition was unknown as of 11 p.m. Friday.
Police said they were looking for three Hispanic men in a white, Ford F-150.
