A/C unit atop downtown building catches fire

An air conditioning unit on top of a downtown building caught fire Wednesday afternoon.

KHOU-TV

Fire trucks circled the building.

The privately owned art studio is located at 314 Main.

Smoke filled the building, and people inside were evacuated.

It was a two-alarm fire just after 12:30 p.m., but the fire was put out quickly.
