A woman was killed in house fire in southwest Houston, and now fire investigators are looking for her husband to break the news.

He's apparently a trucker and is on the road.

The fire happened at a home on Raven Ridge. The woman's body was found in a back bedroom, where firefighters believe the fire started.

Neighbors told arson investigators the woman was a smoker, but they have not determined if cigarettes are the cause of the fire.

When firefighters arrived just after 9 p.m., the home was fully engulfed.

Neighbors said the couple who lived there was friendly, and the woman sometimes accompanied her husband on his long drives.
