Life-changing moment in St. Peter's Square draws Houston family back

In a couple of weeks, Archbishop Daniel DiNardo will become a cardinal in Rome, and many Houstonians are planning to make the trip.
Among the group is a former energy trader who left a highly profitable job to work for the church.
"It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," friend Steve Bollman said. "I mean this is an incredibly, historically important day."
It won't be the family's first trip to Rome. Seven years ago, the newlyweds knelt before Pope John Paul II in St. Peter's Square. It was then that the powerful energy trader from Houston felt a jolt and decided he wanted to do something else.
"After he gave Shelley a blessing, I said, 'Holy Father, I'd really like to do something in America for families, for marriages and families,'" Bollman said. "And that's when he grabbed my face, and he pulled me over to him and said, 'well God bless you in what you'd like to do.'"
Bollman left his day job and founded a group called That Man is You. It's goal is to help men become better husbands and fathers.
Bollman's 5-year-old daughter will also be watching the archbishop become a cardinal. She's maybe a little too young to understand, but her mother will be there to explain.
"I think it will be awe-inspiring to be able to witness that," Shelley Bollman said.
"He is now one of the next men that will elect the pope," her husband said.
The Bollmans have already met one during a moment they will never forget. They are looking forward to being in St. Peter's Square once again.
