Pence to miss 4 to 6 weeks

Astros outfielder Hunter Pence, who is in the running for Rookie of the Year, will miss four to six weeks due to a wrist injury the team confirmed to 11 News Monday night.

Astros outfielder Hunter Pence is batting .330 with 12 home runs and 45 runs batted in.
Pence suffered a sprained right wrist during Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Pence, in 73 games of his rookie season, leads the Astros with a .330 batting average. He also has 12 home runs with 45 runs batted in.
Pence was placed on the 15 day disabled list. To take his place on the 25-man roster the Astros recalled outfielder Jason lane from Triple A Round Rock.
