David John Sprong, Jr.
David John Sprong, Jr. is wanted on multiple molestation charges related to the alleged molestation of young girls in California.
Sprong has been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show and is listed on her Child Sexual Predator Watch List.
He was featured on America's Most Wanted Saturday night.
A tipster called to say Sprong was living in Humble.
"I just couldn't believe it, man. I was amazed," said Kenneth, the tipster. "I never thought I'd actually see somebody I knew, ya know, and when I did, you know, I mean I've got two little kids... and I mean he needs to be caught."
But when law officers went to the house in the 20000 block of Roxette Court, Sprong was gone. They think he fled after seeing the program.

Sprong might be traveling with his girlfriend and their 10-year-old daughter.
His two chihuahua-type dogs were left behind and are now in the custody of animal control.
Sprong was operating an auto repair shop on Issacs Road in Humble. He would go to strip bars to recruit young girls to work in his auto shop, according to 11 News sources.
“It was very shady. He kept the door closed a lot. Even on beautiful days the door would be drawn, and he’d have a shade over his little window and the door. And there would be kids coming in and out – when I say kids, I mean teenagers,” witness Veronica said of Sprong’s auto shop.
Sprong was reportedly passing himself off as a retired Lt. Colonel who had just returned from Iraq. Sprong claimed to be an Army chopper pilot, according to sources.
No one was more surprised by the news than Jay Chamberlain, who worked for Sprong.
The 24-year-old Chamberlain said Sprong called him moments after his segment aired on America’s Most Wanted, asking for help.
“He was like, I need you to help me move all these tools and so we packed his trailer full – I mean, all the way to the brim,” he said.
Chamberlain also said he helped Sprong move furniture from his home in the middle of the night, the whole time unaware that he was aiding a wanted sex offender.
Sprong’s neighbors were also shocked – and scared – by the news. Their street is filled with children.
Sprong may be traveling with his long time girlfriend and their ten-year-old daughter.
They may be driving a 1997 Infinity SUV, green with a tan or gold stripe along the bottom, bearing Texas license plate 222 BRD.Sprong, 47, is 6 feet tall and weighs 225 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes.
Sprong was last seen with a shaved head and a black goatee. He has scars on his left and right ankles, left and right legs, right finger, and right thigh. He also has a tattoo on his right leg.

He might have checked into a Houston area motel or rented a home here in the past few days. He could also be in the Baytown area, according to sources.
He also uses the name John Ellison.
“Anytime you have a multiple sex offender like this, he’s certainly a danger – perhaps even to his daughter and certainly to the children in our community,” the FBI’s Shauna Dunlap said.
Bail bondsmen and bounty hunters were reportedly scouring the Houston area Wednesday night trying to find Sprong.
Oprah Winfrey is offering a $100,000 reward of her own money to any citizen who assists in providing information which leads to Sprong’s arrest.Anyone with information concerning this case is asked to please contact the Houston office of the FBI at 713-693-5000 or the Sacramento office of the FBI at 916-481-9110.
