HPD investigating toddler's death

Houston police are investigating the death of a toddler early Monday morning. The 2-year-old girl was taken to Memorial Southeast Hospital on Sunday night after she was unresponsive, police said. She'd spent the day in Liberty County at a family member's farm. The Harris County Medical Examiner's office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death. HPD said the girl was in Houston for the hoilday weekend. She is from Leesville, La.
