Mom puts baby into clothes dryer

A teenage mother in Bogalusa, La., has confessed to putting her infant into a clothes dryer and turning it on. KHOU-TV Lakeesha Adams, 18, has been charged with murder. When police arrived to the scene, the 3-month-old baby was dead. Lakeesha Adams, 18, had initially blamed the crime on an intruder, but she later admitted she did it – but won’t say why. She has been charged with murder and could face the death penalty. Her 1-year-old daughter is now in state custody.
