Houstonians now have an easy way to sell things on eBay. A Houston area
business is in the business of selling your stuff on eBay and will do
all of the work for you.
KHOU
EZ Auction Stop will do everything from listing your items to sending
you the check, once the item has sold.
You may have some things that you would like to sell, but don't know how
to go about it.
EZ Auction Stop knows just what to do, and it's already held more than
5,000 successful eBay auctions.
Tod Knight says the process is simple. All you have to do is bring in
items weighing less than 150 pounds.
"We help them determine whether or not there is a market for their items
and whether or not it's a price that works for us," Knight says.
If you can give up 25 to 30 percent of what an item sells for to the ez
Auction Stop, they will take pictures and type a description.
Then, the bidding begins.
"It's not anything people can't do on their own, but we specialize in
it. We do it better, more convenient and they make more money.
Victor Green says it works.
"I think I can reach a lot more individuals. I think I can get a lot
more money for it too, with competitive bidding," says Green.
This time Green hopes to sell skydiving and scuba equipment.
But not everything sells.
ez Auction Stop says there a couple of things you need to keep in mind
when selling. You may have paid a lot for something like a doll that may
have a lot of sentimental value, but it really is not going to go for
that much. It's all about supply and demand, so something like a Palm
Pilot and phone would go for a lot more.
An item is usually on auction for seven or 10 days.
