Big changes may be coming to the iPhone

Apple is expected to have major plans this fall for the iPhone, which turns 10 this year.

According to Bloomberg, Apple is testing an iPhone model with a touchscreen covering the entire front of the device. The report also says while the screen is larger than the iPhone 7 Plus, the overall size of the smartphone is similar to an iPhone 7.

The upgraded, higher-end model of the iPhone will also feature more advanced cameras and stainless steel components, says the report. It's one of three iPhones Apple is expected to unveil this fall. Other models of the device could include a curved display.

Apple declined to comment on the report.

Since first launching in 2007, the iPhone has become Apple's signature device, and this year's launch could mark a rebound in sales after a slump last year.

In January, Apple reported posting strong sales of the iPhone in the first quarter, ending a three-quarter streak of declining shipments. That should improve once Apple rolls out its anniversary editions of the iPhone later this year.
