A cold front has made its way through the area into Galveston where light showers hit the Houston metro area Saturday morning.
KHOU 11 meteorologist Mario Gomez says rain showers will continue Saturday into the afternoon. There's a 40-percent rain chance for Sunday that moves up to 50 percent by Monday. Another cold front moves in Tuesday with a 60-percent chance for rain.
Rain chances continue throughout next week. Temperatures are expected to stay relatively cool with temps in the 50s during the day and overnight lows in the 40s.
