HOUSTON – Scattered storms are expected throughout Houston on Thursday, according to KHOU 11 Meteorologist David Paul.

And though temperatures are expected to reach the mid 90s, a cool front is pushing its way into Texas to provide some relief by Friday.

Paul expects a 20 percent chance of rain early morning Thursday before than chance jumps to 30 percent in the afternoon.

A cool front begins to push its way in Friday and push temperatures into the 60s by Friday night.

Next week the temps increase a few degrees with a slight rain chance.
