The Houston Astros are totally justified raising their ticket prices.
You know, because they put such a scintillating product on the field.
They could easily have the worst record in the majors for the 4th straight year. Although we're enjoying seeing some of the younger players start to blossom the simple fact is the last playoff game they won was game 6 of the National League Championship Series in St. Louis in 2005.
Despite being the laughing stock of baseball, not only on the field, but with some front office pratfalls as well, they now want to raise prices on 70% of the tickets?
Houston fans will pay to see a good product and they always have.
You want more money? Work out a TV deal like the other teams do or….
Here's a concept…WIN.
THEN raise your prices.
