RENO, Nev. (AP) - Nevada has added Texas A&M to its 2015 football schedule and dropped a game scheduled against UCLA.
It will be the first time the Wolf Pack have played a Southeastern Conference team.
Nevada Athletic Director Doug Knuth announced the new game at the Aggies Thursday when he disclosed Nevada and UCLA have mutually agreed to drop games against each other in 2015-16.
The Wolf Pack also pushed back a game scheduled at Idaho in 2015, and agreed to remove BYU from the 2019 road schedule.
Knuth said the changes are intended to help seek a competitive balance in the schedule, which includes a 2016 game at Notre Dame.
Nevada Coach Brian Polian said he welcomed the moves partly because of how tough the competition is in the Mountain West Conference.
