HOUSTON -- Fire destroyed a family's house in Lubbock two years ago and now they are making sure it doesn't happen again

They are rebuilding using insulated concrete forms which is basically interlocking blocks of Styrofoam filled with concrete If there's another fire the concrete won't be damaged as the Styrofoam melts.

"The benefits are outstanding, we usually see around 40 to 60 percent savings in energy bills," said Stewart Townsen.

Builders say the insulated concrete blocks are becoming more popular because of the savings in energy costs.
