AUSTIN, Texas -- An Amber Alert was issued for a 2-year-old girl who went missing in South Austin Friday afternoon.

Police say Cheyenne Johnson disappeared around 2 p.m. from Anita Drive, near Lamar Boulevard and Oltorf Street in South Austin.

She's about 2 and a half feet tall, 25 pounds with brown hair and eyes. She had on a navy blue shirt with flowers and navy blue shorts.

Police said she was last seen with Jesse Thomas. He is about 6'1" and 220 pounds. Thomas had on a gray T-shirt and blue jean shorts.

He drives a black 2005 Mercury Marquis 4-door with a license plate DN3F648. It has 22 inch silver rims and damage to the rear bumper.

Thomas does not have parental rights to the child, police said.

He is considered dangerous. If you see him or the little girl, call 911 right away.
