MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas - The 14th case of West Nile virus has been confirmed in Montgomery County, according to health officials.
The 14th case was a man in his 50's who lives in the Southwest part of Montgomery County. He was infected and discharged from the hospital prior to the beginning of the aerial spraying.
Precinct 3 Commissioner, James Noack, advises that Precinct 3 is actively taking measures to protect areas that are affected by this disease.
Commissioner Noack asks that the public continue to wear insect repellent, eliminate standing water and treat standing water that you can't drain.
