HOUSTON (AP) - An arraignment has been rescheduled to next month for the man accused in the July slayings of six members of his ex-wife's family, including four children, at their Spring home.

Ronald Lee Haskell wasn't in a Houston courtroom when his next court appearance, set for Monday, was delayed until Sept. 30. His attorney, Doug Durham, said the rescheduling was routine.

The 33-year-old Haskell is facing capital murder charges.

He's accused of forcing his way into the Spring home of Stephen and Katie Stay on July 9, then fatally shooting the couple and four of their children when they wouldn't disclose the whereabouts of his former wife, who was Katie Stay's sister.

Another child, 15-year-old Cassidy Stay, also was shot but survived, called police and identified the gunman as Haskell.
