HOUSTON -- A pair of suspected burglars made a run for it after being spooked during a smash-and-grab at a Greater East End gas station early Friday, police said.
It all happened before 4 a.m. in the 6900 block of Navigation Boulevard.
Police arrived to find the side of a gas station smashed in, but the suspects were already gone. It appeared the crooks fled without taking anything from the store.
Their dually pickup truck was later found a couple miles north of the scene, police said.
