MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas - Three of four suspects have been arrested after allegedly robbing a Denny's and its patrons at gun point.
Around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office were responded to the 1500 block of Lake Robbins in The Woodlands. Two people reported they were sitting in their car when three armed suspects robbed them at gunpoint and fled.
A short time later, deputies were dispatched to the Denny's restaurant in the 6100 block of FM 1488 in Magnolia. The suspects robbed the restaurant and the patrons at gunpoint. The description of the suspects matched those reported in the earlier robbery.
Officers with the Oak Ridge North Police Department later spotted a vehicle and occupants matching the description given of the suspects in the earlier robberies.
When the officer pulled the car over, one suspect fled on foot and got away. The other three suspects stayed in the car.
After an investigation by detectives, all three subjects were arrested and charged with the robbery on Lake Robbins and the robbery at Denny's. All three suspects are additionally being identified as suspects in numerous other similar aggravated robberies of individuals in Montgomery and Harris Counties including a recent robbery at an IHOP restaurant.
