HOUSTON -- Authorities released surveillance video of a gas station robbery last week in West Houston.

The incident happened August 13, 2014, at the Chevron located on Highway 6 South and Briar Forest.

The clerk was counting the register during closing time when the armed suspect walked in. Surveillance cameras show the suspect putting a bandana across his face before walking in. The suspect pointed a gun straight at the clerk.

"He was pointing the gun at my chest and head," said Moe QuasQuas, the victim.

In the video, you can see Moe put the money in a plastic bag for the suspect. The man walked out and Moe was ducking under the counter until he thought it was clear.

"I thought after I give him the money he is going to shoot me after that," said Moe. "After he left I was like thank God."

The same store has been hit twice. There have also been several businesses robbed, all within a 10 mile radius.

"There have been business robberies in the area," said Officer Kim Miller, with the West Side Robbery Division. "So at this point we don't know if it's connected to any others. The way this guy was prepared, he will strike again."

Now Moe, who moved here from Jordan six years ago, is afraid the robber will strike again. He's also nervous he may never get to go back to his native country.

"I moved here by myself," said Moe. "I have a family, I haven't seen them for almost six years."

Moe is hoping the suspect understands his message.

"I hope he will change and be a better person," said Moe. "It's not a good thing to do."

Moe said if it was up to him he would quit his job. But he says that's his only source of income for his college tuition and money he sends back home.

The suspect is about 5'3" to 5'4" tall with a skinny build and long hair. Call Crime Stoppers with any information at 713-222-TIPS.
