HOUSTON -- Another Houston-area IHOP restaurant was robbed overnight, and like many before it, the latest occurred on the north side.

Houston police said around 2 a.m. Tuesday, three armed men with their faces covered entered the restaurant along Greens Road just east of I-45.

They demanded money from the cash register and then fled northbound on the interstate. Police said a fourth suspect was waiting in the getaway vehicle, a pickup truck.

Unlike other IHOP robberies, no customers were robbed.

No injuries were reported.

Police said this is the fourth Houston-area IHOP robbery in less than a month.
