CONROE, Texas A trio has been charged with stealing items from more than a dozen cemeteries and one is still on the loose.

Donald Brown and his girlfriend Talina Westerman are both in jail, charged with engaging in organized crime activity.

Westerman s son-in-law, Michael Johnson has a warrant out for his arrest.

Montgomery County deputies believe the threesome swiped 13 grave markers, 144 cemetery vases, eight brass vase rings and three brass picture frames totaling nearly $57,000.

The thefts occurred at cemeteries in Montgomery, Harris and San Jacinto counties.

Westerman s mother said they were busted while trying to sell the items. She also admitted that she s humiliated by the crimes and her daughter wasn t raised that way.
