KELLER -- Luxury purses, watches and thousands of dollars in cash; a jackpot of stolen items.
I've been here 25 years, and this the biggest case that we've had that has involved this much volume of property, said Lt. Brenda Slovak with the Keller Police Department.
Keller police have seized 1,700 items and counting in the case against suspected burglar Justin Andrews.
Among the victims are Texas Senator Jane Nelson, pro golfer Brandt Jobe, and BNSF Railway CEO Matt Rose. Investigators say Andrews targeted families living in posh, and sometimes gated neighborhoods.
In the stash, police even found former Dallas Cowboys running back Herschel Walker's business card -- he, too, was a victim.
There's probably more out there, it's going to take time to figure out who they are, Slovak said.
The 34 year old is accused in a string of burglaries from Texas to Las Vegas. More than 20 of them happened last year in Westlake and Flower Mound.
He was pretty good to go for that long, and do this many, and not get caught, Slovak said.
Andrews was arrested near the Houston area on Tuesday, days after police searched his home. Keller PD got a tip in November that led them to the suspect.
It was the break they needed.
He has helped make the case stronger, Slovak said. He made some mistakes.
Andrews served time in Illinois for similar crimes and was also arrested in Houston in 1995 for theft.
His bond has been set for $3.6 million.
Investigators hope this time, he will go to prison for a long time.
