AUSTIN, Texas - One of the more unusual bills on the agenda for 83rd Legislature will be whether or not strippers should wear identification badges.

Rep. Bill Zedler, R-Arlington, wants strippers to wear the badges at work and be licensed by the state.

He said it would prevent sex trafficking and keep minors from using fake IDs to work at sexually-oriented businesses.

Zedler said he knows making strippers show their real names could be a safety issue, so he is suggesting they use a magnetic cover to hide their names from customers.
