CHANNELVIEW, Texas A 27-year-old man faces a murder charge after he and another man were accused of killing one man and shooting another in the head on Nov. 14, court documents state.

Omar Golston Adorno, of Houston, is charged with murder with bail set at $50,000.

According to a police affidavit, Harris County Sheriff s Office deputies responded to a call of a shooting at the 16000 block of Upshire. When they arrived, deputies found Javier Sandoval dead with a gunshot wound to the head.Dijion Moon had also been shot, but he was alive.

Moon was transport to Hermann Hospital where he was treated and released.

The victim told investigators that he and Sandoval were sitting inside the garage at the residence on Upshire when two men who Sandoval knew approached them. Moon said he did not know the two acquaintances.

Moon said in the affidavit that he was texting his girlfriend when he heard a gunshot and saw Sandoval fall to the ground. One of the men was pointing a gun at Sandoval and then turned and shot at Moon.

Moon was hit in the head once. The men fled the scene in a car.

Investigators said they spoke with friends of Moon from the neighborhood who said that the man described by the victim sounded like it was Thomas Cavazos. After Moon was presented with a lineup, he positively identified Cavazos as the shooter, the affidavit states.

Cavazos has also been charged with murder with bail set at $50,000, according to court documents.

On Nov. 19, investigators said that they received a Crime Stoppers tip identifying Adorno as the man who accompanied Cavazos. Later, Moon positively identified Adorno after he was presented with a lineup.

Investigators also discovered video from a surveillance camera at the residence that depicts one of the suspects retrieving something from their car prior to the shooting, affidavit states. Later, the second suspect can be seen concealing an unknown object in his pants. After the shooting, the video show the two suspects running to the car and fleeing the scene.
