HOUSTON Cameron Dorsey has been charged with capital murder in the deaths of his grandfather and aunt.

Firefighters found the bodies of 89-year-old Clements Dorsey and his 61-year-old daughter, Barbara Alexander, lastThursday morning inside their southeast Houstonhome. They had been beaten with a hammer.

Detecives say the fire was set to cover up thecrime.

Cameron Dorsey, 20, was seen leaving the home in the 8100 block of Dover in his grandfather's SUV, according to witnesses.

He was arrested Sunday and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The capital murder charge was filedMonday just before noon.

Clements Dorsey was a pastor at Holy Temple of Jesus Christ church.

Alexander was in town from California for her son's upcoming wedding.

It s obvious that someone was in a rage when they conducted this crime, and as they went throughout the home, said Sgt. JJ Wilson with HPD s Homicide Division. We have a lot of blood and a lot of evidence from the garage up to the front door of the home.

Cameron Dorsey. He moved in with his grandparents after he was released from jail on a charge of theft from the elderly. Relatives said the grandfather recently told the teen he had to find another place to live.

Police said Cameron Dorsey was in his grandparent s missing SUV. He hasn t been charged in connection with the deaths of his grandfather and aunt, but he has been charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was being held without bond.

Dorsey isbeing heldwithout bond.
