HOUSTON The Houston Astros will be unveiling their new look and brand on Friday, November 2nd. However, for the third time in the last week, their new logo has been leaked to the public.

This time it was done on the team s own website.

The Houston Astros website is run by MLB and on Tuesday, the team released a statement regarding the leak.

This morning, a portion of the Astros future brand went live on the Astros official website, which is managed by Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM). MLBAM has since corrected the error. Fortunately, only a small portion of the Astros new identity was posted on the site as a result of the error.

The Astros entire new identity will be revealed at the club s official Launch Party on Nov. 2 at 6 p.m. at Minute Maid Park. At this event, the new logo, game jerseys, batting practice jersey, caps and new mascot for the 2013 season will be officially revealed.

All vouchers for the Launch Party have been claimed, but for those not in attendance, the Astros will stream the event live on
