HOUSTON Houston police are searching for two suspects who took turns raping a woman they duped into accepting a ride in north Houston last month.

The 27-year-old woman was upset and walking to a bus stop after having a fight with a friend on September 23. The suspects drove by in a dark-colored vehicle, possibly a 1997 Ford Taurus station wagon, and offered her a ride. The woman accepted, thinking the men were just a couple of good guys.

They were very nice to her in the beginning, consoling her because she was crying (saying) Don t worry, we will get you where you need to go, said Jennifer Kennedy with the Houston Police Department. And when she looked up, she realized they weren t going downtown.

Instead of driving her to a bus stop, they took her to the 2100 block of Harrington and sexually assaulted her.

A surveillance camera at a nearby business recorded the entire incident.

The video shows one suspect standing outside while his friend raped the woman inside the vehicle, then the second man took his turn.

After the men were finished, they let their victim go and fled northbound on Semmes Street. The woman ran to a nearby foam plastics company screaming. Workers heard her and rushed to help.

One suspect is said to be HIspanic, in his 40s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and has a medium build. He has dark brown hair which was slicked back tucked behind the ears that day brown eyes and black ink tattoos on both arms. He also has one tattoo around one wrist.

The other suspect, also Hispanic, appeared to be in his 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and heavyset. He has a bald head, brown eyes and a tattoo on his upper right arm.
