DALLAS It's a big weekend for the Dallas Zoo, which is opening its Koala Walkabout exhibit Saturday in time for spring break.

The Dallas Zoo is one of only 10 zoos in the country to exhibit the Australian marsupials, which are in Texas on loan from the San Diego Zoo.

Chris Johnson, the Dallas Zoo's interpretive programs manager, also brought two other Australian natives to WFAA's Victory Park studio on Saturday morning: a blue-tongued skink (a large lizard) and a baby kangaroo.

The Dallas Zoo is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
